Day 1 SEVILLA • CARMONAand_cycl

Rendezvous at our pick up point at Sevilla's Santa Justa Station. Meet your tour guide and local city guide for a driving and walking tour of the city of Carmen and Don Juan. Your walking tour will include the Cathedral, the Barrio Santa Cruz, with its Moorish and Jewish quarters, and on through the romantic Murillo Gardens to the banks of the Guadalquivir River, where your van will meet you for transfer to your hotel a short distance outside Sevilla. Relax by the pool before this evening's orientation, followed by a Welcome Dinner.Overnight: Alcázar de la Reina Dinner

Day 2 CARMONA • PALMA DEL RIO

After breakfast, collect your bikes outside the hotel and depart for Palma del Rio. The ride takes you through the Nature Reserve above the Guadalquivir river, over gently undulating terrain with one short climb. Light lunch along the way. 52km. Stay in a former monastery with beautiful gardens, pool, and superb food. Dinner at the monastery. Overnight: Hospedería San Francisco Breakfast Lunch Dinner

Day 3 PALMA DEL RIO • CÓRDOBA

After breakfast, cycle out along a system of canals formed from the Guadalquivir river to the town of Almodóvar with its impressive castle; lunch stop here. Ride down and out of Almodóvar, over gently undulating terrain to the outskirts of Córdoba. 42 km. Transfer in by van from the outskirts. Stay in the heart of this white city, center of western European culture a thousand years ago. Explore its rich medieval atmosphere on a Tapas Walk tonight with your guide, with visits to patio cafés and historic tabernas. Overnight: Hotel Alfaros Breakfast Lunch Tapas

Day 4 CÓRDOBA • ZUHEROS

Enjoy a morning walking tour with your local guide, including a visit to the Mesquita/Great Mosque. Take time for lunch or shopping, before an early afternoon transfer to Zuheros in the Sierra de Subbéticas Park. Explore this beautiful white village then sample local olive oil, cheese and wine before dinner at the hotel. Overnight: Hotel Zuhaya Breakfast Dinner

Day 5 ZUHEROS • ZAGRILLA

After breakfast shuttle to the caves above Zuheros for a tour. Cycle down from the caves past this dramatic pueblo blanco and join the beautiful Via Verde with spectacular views; end the day in the village of Zagrilla nestled in the shadow of the mountains. 49 km. Overnight: Villa Turística de Zagrilla Breakfast Picnic

Day 6 ZAGRILLA • MONTEFRÍO • FUENTE VAQUEROS • GRANADA

After breakfast begin cycling the undulating country roads through the last stronghold of the Moors in Spain-a land of rocky outcrops crowned by walled villages. 45 km. The town of Montefrío is one of the most dramatic of these villages, known for its curious acoustics and sausages/morcilla and chorizo. Climb into Montefrío or transfer in our van. Lunch in Montefrío and town visit. Transfer out to the summit then sit back for a spectacular downhill ride, approximately 23km, to Fuente Vaqueros. Visit the García Lorca House Museum, followed by wine & tapas in a local taberna before transfering into Granada. Overnight: Hotel Anacapri Breakfast Lunch Tapas

Day 7 GRANADA

Enjoy a private guided visit to the Alhambra & Generalife palaces this morning, followed by a free afternoon before your farewell dinner in a signature restaurant featuring the cuisine of Andalucia. Breakfast Dinner
